The stupidest idea to hit
higher education since the
administrators who thought it up.
Learning happens through personal
interaction, not through the
pseudo-interaction of distance "learning". Spend the money on putting
computers in the classroom, not on putting the classroom in a computer or TV. If you don't want to sit in a
classroom, then go
read a book. The only people who should use distance learning are those people for whom going to a classroom isn't a mere
inconveience, but a
hardship, such as
single mothers and the
handicapped.
Oh, yeah, I'm a
teacher, so you might consider my opinion
biased.
