Shappy, also known as "The Major Player", is a 31 year old poet and frequent poetry slam participant. His day job is at Quimby’s bookstore in Chicago and he hosts the poetry slam (or "The Shappening" as he calls it) at Estelle’s in Winter Park. He has toured with Lollapalooza and appeared on Comedy Central.
