Contactable IP's are all IP's that are actually contactable (duh). This includes all IP's (both
routable and
nonroutable), excluding
loopback IP's.
Any given
network interface may have any number of contactable IP's, on any number of
subnets. Having more than one routable IP is commonly known as
multihoming.
