British actress.

Tina O'Brien was born on the 7th August 1983 in Rusholme, Manchester, England.

Tina has appeared in several TV dramas, including The Cops (BBC), Childrens Ward (Granada), Factory (BBC) and Clocking Off (BBC), but she is most famous for her role as Sarah-Louise Platt in Coronation Street, a role she has played since October 1999.

As Sarah-Lou, Tina has been part of two top-line stories - the first her pregnancy at age 13 (a role which won her critical acclaim from within the industry and in the media), and most recently her relationship with an internet chatroom paedophile, which highlighted both her acting talents and her maturity and sexuality.

Away from the cameras, Tina likes listening to rock music and has passed her driving test. As for her future? - "I'd like to do any kind of film really except nakedness - definitely not for me!"
