Evileye

Evileye, real name Daniel Burman, was born in Leeds in 1983, the son of two stagedesigners. At the age of 6 he moved with his family to Skipton, a market town not far from Leeds, where he attended Water Street Primary School. At age 10, his family moved onto a canal boat moored on the Leeds and Liverpool Canal in Skipton. A year later, he began secondary education at Ermysted's Grammar School, also in Skipton, having passed the entrance exam. He took 10 GCSE's there in the academic year 1998/99 and came away with 5 A grades, 4 B grades and one C. The year after this he continued into the Ermysted's 6th Form, where he studied English Literature, English Language and German. In 2001 he took exams in these subjects, achieving 1 A, 2 Bs and a C, enough to secure him a place at the University of East Anglia in Norwich.
