Ok... I was trying to explain some scientific stuff (Hawking Radiation, heat death, etc.) to my brother (known for his lack of scientific knowledge). He seemed to be following it, but when I finally finished, he just had one simple sentence:
I think it's all just hibber-jobber-jobber.
Aack! Right about then, my brain exploded. Usually when someone refutes some proven (or generally accepted) scientific thingy, I start to quickly ramble off why the person is wrong. In this case, however, my brother just called quantum physics (among other things) hibber-jobber-jobber. What could I do? I just stayed completely silent, and left.
