A software utility for Windows created by Elaborate Bytes. As the title indicates CloneCD is for creating copies of CDs that are (at least functionally) exact copies of the originals. CloneCD can write CDs from image files or from one CD drive to another on the fly.
CloneCD can be used to defeat many different types of copy protection. As the correct options needed to defeat specific protections are not obvious the ClonyXXL utility was created by BxxxxJ to scan for various protections and give the correct CloneCD settings for each.
Newer versions of CloneCD have built-in copy protection detection routines, making copying protected CDs a one-click exercise in most cases.
