Marine Corps Air-Ground
Combat Center. This is located in
Twentynine Palms, CA, in the
Morongo Basin of the
Mojave Desert.
This is a training base, where some Marine units are sent each year to participate in a Combined Arms Exercise.
Unlike Camp Pendleton, Camp Lejeune, and Okinawa, where major Marine Divisions are stationed, MCAGCC only has a communications and electronics school, and a few minor units, or forward detachments of major units.
