Nothing rude here, sorry. This write-up is, of course, devoted to the man-sized vegetables that grow in Subcon, world of Super Mario Brothers 2.
When compared to normal sized vegetables, they take a lot more effort to pull from the ground, although the large nature of them allows for much less precision when throwing them at enemies. Another bonus of the large size is it that they allow multiple enemies to be hit together very easily, with virtually no need for the timing involved in trying to achieve a domino effect.
These vegetables, despite being referred to generically, all look like turnips (perhaps inspired by the fairy tale?)
