Almost the best breakfast in the world. To be absolutely perfect however, it requires the addition of a sliced banana. That way you have protein, sugars, carbohydrate, minerals and vitamins - making it pretty much the ideal balanced meal. And it tastes divine.

Admittedly, it isn't something I can face before 11am, but who can eat earlier than that anyway?


K9: If you use lean bacon (especially grilled), and skimmed milk, this is *much* less unhealthy than a traditional English breakfast. Pancakes cook with virtually no oil, and you can't claim bananas are bad for you.

Okay, if you pour a ton of syrup on, it's not good, but that would spoil the flavours of the bacon and banana in any case
