LiteStep is a
shell replacement for 32-bit Windows. It replaces the
explorer.exe as the main
user interface component, and allows the user to
design their own interface out of images, menus, icons and
modules that perform various useful and distractive functions. It's not the only shell replacement, and it's not the first, but it's certainly the most popular.
