In this node, as with
a lot of other nodes on atheism, there's the tendency to equate
religion with
Christianity. Considering that Christianity is the dominant religion of the
western world, it's an easy mistake to make, but it
is a
mistake.
There are a lot of religions out there, and quite a few of them tend to be more tolerent, open-minded, and quieter than Christianity tends to be.
For that matter, not all religions even have gods. You might want to consider that before painting all faiths with the same brush.
