Castlevania incredibly similar to
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, starring not a Belmont, but a high school foreign exchange student named
Soma Cruz who has the power to absorb souls. He's also pretty much like
Alucard.
The soul system consists of four different types of souls:
Red Soul: Lets you attack.
Blue Soul: Lets you use various things by pressing R.
Yellow Soul: Is always using an ability. (Equip it and it'll work.
Silver Soul: Lets you use a special ability.
Unlike Alucard, Soma has only one equiment slot for weapons, one for armor, and one for accessory. This means he can't equip two rings or a necklace and a ring. Why this is, I don't know.
Souls are acquired at random, and are often rare, but you can get three pieces of Luck raising equipment to make it much easier.
