There was another incident (this was
before my time) involving the
MOB. A few of the
Rice engineering students worked out the
natural frequency and the aluminium bleachers at
Kyle Field, and had the entire band play that note as loud as they could. They got the stands resonating nicely for about a minute.
BTW, if they got chased off by the
corps for making fun of
Reveille dying, they had it coming.
