Pluto's Kiss shut down the entire internet, ALTIMIT was the only OS that had evaded the virus. The 2004 "New Generation Hypernet Plan" resurfaced and the heavy handed restrictions on net use were implimented, with ALTIMIT designated to be the basic net OS.
After a few years ALTIMIT had almost 100% saturation with no viruses or cyber crimes committed. The entertainment restrictions on the net were lifted in time for ALTIMIT's new game, a
