Formerly known as Ghost Planet Industries. Williams Street is a cartoon production company that makes some of the more bizarre stuff on Cartoon Network, making up most of the adult swim section of their programming. They started with Space Ghost Coast to Coast and later made, amongst other things, Cartoon Planet (cancelled), Brak Presents The Brak Show Starring Brak (cancelled), The Brak Show, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Harvey Birdman, Attorney At Law, and Sealab 2021.
Williams Street's specialty, as you might expect, is reanimating dead 60's cartoons, a task much easier said than done. Rematching lip sync for characters for which ony about ten minutes of footage exists without making many new animation frames is tricky to say the least. Though they do make some of their own animation with the help of other companies (i.e. Aqua Teen Hunger Force), the majority of their cartoons revolve around recombining animation from old Hannah-Barbera cartoons and putting them in scenarios most people wouldn't dream of.
