"My name is Yon Yonson, I work in Wisconsin. I work in a lumber mill there. The people I meet when I walk down the street, they ask me my name and I say: My name is Yon Yonson, I work in Wisconsin..."
And so forth.

I found this while reading Slaughterhouse Five. Kurt Vonnegut is my new favorite author. They say Vonnegut didn't write the lyric, but it's still kickass.

The number is often recited with a mock Swedish accent, with the W's becoming V's. The Y's apparently substitute what used to be J's. You know, like John Johnson.

"My name is Yon Yonson, I work in Wisconsin. I work in a lumber mill there..."
I just wish it weren't so ingrained in my skull; it's too damn catchy.
