The third
station in the
Babylon Project,
Babylon Station 3 took up where
Babylon 2 failed.
Under tighter security, the station was built, to avert sabotage, but fell to terrorism as the station was destroied in an explosion.
Eyewitness accounts found no cause for the explosion, but it is possible that the Drakh or other allies of the Shadows attacked the station.
However, like the stations that came before (Babylon Station and Babylon 2), Babylon 3 was actually sabotaged by an opposing, subversive political force.
The
Babylon Project was continued with the
construction of
Babylon Station 4 or
Babylon 4.
