The AH-64D Apache Longbow is the next-generation helicopter produced by Boeing in Mesa, Arizona. These new Apaches are far more superior to the old AH-64A (estimated 28 times more capable) and are considered by many, the world's best combat helicopter. Since the 1980's, about 1,100 Apaches have been shipped to countries world wide, and Boeing estimates 1,000 more in the next decade.
On Oct. 16, 2001, the first international shipment of these helicopters arrived in Seoul, South Korea. During the summer, I was a proud employee of the company that translated the entire helicopter manual from English to Korean. Of course, that company is owned by my mom, so I was paid just a little. Still, I got a few hundred dollars and some incredible posters of the Longbow and other Military Rotorcrafts made by Boeing.

Note: The WAH-64 uses the Rolls-Royce/Turbomeca RTM322 engine while the AH-64D Longbow uses the General Electric T700-GE-701C engine.
