B.C. Lions defeated the
Montreal Alouettes 28-26.
Towards the end, it was a close game. Down by two points with 44 seconds to play, Montreal failed at a two point
conversion that would have tied the game.
This is the first time in the
Canadian Football League that a team with a
losing record (B.C. was 8-10 that season) won the
Grey Cup.
