• Rick Latham and the Groove Doctors
  This amazing band has a smooth sound, with saxophones, piano, guitar, bass, and bebopping vocals. Some of my favorites of theirs:

  3. Lucky Seven
• Da Brayne
  This musician is an amazingly talented saxophone player. Such a funky groove beat you can jive to.

  2. Untitled 2 - Cool Bass Groove
• Geoff Mattoon
  A beautiful musician with low funky basslines, a great saxophone lead, great vocals, and the occasional funky guitar chorus. A true Jazz great.
  1. Paradise *****
• Blue Train
  This band is very funky. My favorite song begins with a high-wind instrument, perhaps flute, playing a mysterious jazzy tune with pumping drums and bassline in the background. Later in the song, a very talented keyboard wiggles it's way in, followed by bongo drums.

Latin-Jazz

• Steve Laury
  This artist has groovy basslines and gained guitar leads. Backed by latin drum styles and keyboard, this pulls this great band together for an unheard sound.

• Daniel Cox
  This artist barely fits into this category. With latin beats, and lightning-fast acoustic guitar, this is a great addition to any guitar collection.
