Alvin Toffler and Heidi Toffler are well known American futurists, authors of over a dozen books on contemporary culture, the media, the nature of organizations, change management, politics, and computing. Starting with their 1970 publication, Future Shock, they have racked up bestsellers, huge fees for lectures, magazine covers and warmed countless TV chat show sofas. According to Time magazine, Ted Turner credited the Tofflers as the inspiration for setting up CNN.
