there is a
theory that states that the more important a
date is, the less likely that you will be able to find
clean pants.
the same applies to underwear and socks. strangely, the only thing that is not dependant on the importance of a date is the likelyhood of you finding a nice clean shirt. a clean shirt is always to be found, however, it always is wrinkled, fits poorly, or isn't "fun enough" for your date.
one might try to beat this theory by washing all of her clothes before the date. this is the only time where a guy (or girl) will show up early, and all of your clothes will be in the dryer.
it's inevitable.
