Terra chips are a spinoff on the old traditional potato chip. Instead of your usual idaho potato fried and salted, the Terra company has expanded into different kinds of roots to make chips out of. The signature Terra Chips product is made from yuca, taro, sweet potato, batata and parsnip. Not only interesting textures and tastes, but they are also a have a unique visual aspect, which is something the chefs were after in their creaion. The ruby taro ship is a deep blood red color, the white taro textures with little purple lines througout it, and the sweet potato a bright yellow.
Other Terra products use lotus root, blue potato, celeriac root and Jerusalem artichokes, yukon gold, huckleberry and red thumb poratoes.
