Teichopsia is the medical term for having blurred and prismatic colors that occur in your field of vision, usually from having a bad migraine headache or taking some kind of hallucinogenic drug.
It is also called scintillating scotoma, or a "fortification spectrum" because the odd visual effect often looks like the symmetrical geometric lines of a fortress seen from above.
