A concept created, so far as I know, by
Penn Jillette (of
Penn & Teller). In short, it is a
tattoo with no
ink.
Why? All the macho pain of a tattoo and none of the permanence. You still get a nasty and/or cool looking pattern that lasts for maybe a year but after that you get your body back in it's original packaging.
