A
skateboarding term which denotes riding in the opposite
stance than is usual for you. When riding a
skateboard, you have both feet
perpendicular to the long side of the
board and look to your left or right to see ahead. If your right foot is on the front of the
skateboard then your stance is
goofy foot, otherwise it is
regular foot. Learning tricks
switch-stance is like relearning them from scratch because everything is opposite.

switch.
