On greased cookie tin

375 degrees (Fahrenheit)--"about" 12 or 13 minutes

Spice cookies you said you liked:

In large bowl (day before baking)

1. Cream
   • 1 cup dark brown sugar and
   • 1 1/2 cups margarine (presoftened)
2. Stir into this creamed mixture
   • 1 egg
   • 4 tablespoons Grandmother's Molasses (yellow cap)
3. In sifter, place:
   • 2 1/4 cups flour
   • 1/4 teaspoon salt
   • 2 teaspoons baking soda
   • 1/2 teaspoon (scant) cloves
   • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
   • 1 teaspoon (scant) ginger
4. Gradually, sift and stir into the creamed mixture
5. Wrap in wax paper and refrigerate overnight
6. In palm of hand - roll into walnut-sized ball
7. Dip top in white sugar - (place on tins sugar side up) -
