Some guy decided to squat on because of the popularity of as part of his business. He felt justified. At least he has a link to the real slashdot, and a couple useful links such as a DSL availability locator and a bandwidth meter and stuff. I think he knew he'd get trouble were he to try to capitalize on the domain, but for some reason he won't let it go. Too bad; slashdot should no longer be a .org IMO.
