Stereotype:

A shore boy is a guy, usually under 20 who lives on the North Shore, in Auckland, New Zealand.

Characterised by an excess of money from rich parents, which is used to buy alcohol, and a car with a huge muffler. A shore boy tends to frequent shore parties, which are characterised by the large number of trashed shore boys talking about the big mufflers on their cars, and throwing empty beer bottles at anything resembling authority.

Often seen runing away with your mailbox.

Shore boys are the main reason that many people don't admit to living on the North Shore when they go into Auckland City, even though it is such a nice place.
