(Accipiter striatus) The Sharp-Shinned Hawk lives across most of North America, from the Caribbean to Alaska. It is 10-14" and similar in color to Cooper's Hawk. Blue above, white below, with rusty cross-barring. Female is larger. Feeds on squirrels and birds, mainly.
