A counting word in french that signifies 70. It is not used in standard French. It occurs in Swiss french, however, and is used in some Acadian regions as well. Instead, standard french counts from 60;

60: Soixante
...
69: Soixante-neuf
70: Soixante-dix      (60 and 10)
71: Soixante et onze     (60 + 11)
72: Soixante-douze     (60 + 12)
...
79: Soixante-dix-neuf     (60 + 19)

Things get even more strange at 80 and 90, which you might think was octante and nonante.
