primary colors together. the colors people want. patriots and kindergarten teachers can have red blue yellow. africa and ancient rome will kill for the second three. fertile green, of course, naked orange, naturally*, but especially purple. the
romans liked purple. they killed spaniards for it, waited til their tanned deep-diving hides broke the surface of the
mediterranean, grabbed their fresh-found molluscs and ran. the molluscs were rare, and thus royal. it's tough to be the mollusc with the purple.
*white skin is a new fashion. very strange, historically.
