Ruling The World was a one issue crossover of Planetary and The Authority By Warren Ellis and Phil Jimenez and published by Wildstorm in 2000. As a single issue Comic it is quite inofennsive - The Pencilling, Inking and Colouring are all particularly beautiful - but fans of both titles in question were disappointed as the strory lacked (from an Authority fans' perspective) the plot development and twist of The Authority and it apparently seemed shallow compared to the usual Planetary fare. That said Ellis below par is still head and shoulders above most comic writers and another redeeming point is the evidence Jakita Wagner posits to suggest The Authority are the ruling power...
