rudiment

Rudiments are what the entire scope western percussion is built around. There are some essential rudiments which, once mastered, make everything and anything in percussion repertoire playable.

Standards and necessities are:

• Double-stroke roll
• buzz roll
• flam
• paradiddle
• flam accents
• flam taps
• flam drags
• molar stroke
• drag
• ruffs

Believe me, the list goes on, so instead of making this a metanode I'll cut it short.
