Microsoft's original slogan for Windows XP, designed to accompany a variety of television advertisements. The advertisements depict people using the features of Windows XP, such as the My Pictures folder, Windows Messenger, and Windows Movie Maker, which let them fly. The reason for this is not known, which is especially odd considering that none possess mad martial arts skills as in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.
Although the commercials had already been filmed and had likely been submitted for airing in the U.S., the slogan "Prepare to fly" was dropped out of sensitivity concerns in the wake of the attacks of September 11, 2001. The replacement slogan, yes you can, is a somewhat more low-key replacement for the original.
