Attacks of forced deviation of gaze. Often associated with Parkinsons. During such a crisis patients (who later described it) said that they were "forced" to look at a certain object, or that they became "fascinated" or "rapt" upon a certain point. Sometimes the crises are nightmarish, at other times contemplative and not terribly unpleasant. These attacks may last for hours or in a few cases days.
