Natter (verb);

So I was sitting in the car waiting for the misses to come out of the shops when I look at me watch and realise she's been gone for 1/2 a bloody hour, for milk and bread!

I rock up into the shop thinkin maybe she's done a runner on me, and here she is, sittin having a natter to the old biddy behind the counter.

Bloody woman'd talk the ears off a donkey if I let her.

Nat"ter (?), v. i. [Cf. Icel. knetta to grumble.]

To find fault; to be peevish.

[Prov. Eng. or Scot.]
