A land of wonder and fantasy written of in the Chronicles of Narnia. Discovered by a group of children who find a gateway in the back of their wardrobe, the lands of Narnia are some of many children's first forays into fantasy novels. The author, C.S.Lewis, is widely known for the works written about this magical land.

Described by the English author C. S. Lewis in his children's series, The Chronicles of Narnia, Narnia is a land in another plane of existence, where magic works and animals can speak and time runs a little differently.

Narnia is discovered in the first book, "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe," by four children playing hide-and-seek, though it is strongly hinted (and explained in later books) that others have previously found passage into Narnia.

Also a metaphor for the state of being in the closet, an illustratory quote being the wonderful 'I want my men to stand up for something, not to be so far back in the closet they're in fucking Narnia!', said by Tom in one memorable episode of Gimme Gimme Gimme.
