A kind of flat escalator, a conveyor belt on which the cargo is strictly human. It can double your speed as a pedestrian, or allow you to travel without moving. Walking on them then can produce a disquieting sensation of sloth upon reaching the end, as if you've suddenly been deprived of a great ambulatory power.

Though usually seen in the airport, moving sidewalks also appear in some theme parks and Caesar's palace.

Most of them contain one side for the human cattle and another for quick-steppin' mofos. Though one of the cattle will invariably block the walking side with a monstrous piece of lugguge or a stroller containing their gurgling offspring.
