Weirdly enough, this is a phrase denoting
agreement with the last
statement someone else made. The only
condition is, the statement being agreed with must contain some kind of
negative marker, such as the word "
not".
Proper use:
Guy 1: "I do not like fuzzy worms!"
Guy 2: "Me neither."
Improper use:
Guy 1: "I dislike fuzzy worms!"
Guy 2: "Me neither."
Guy 1: "WTF is wrong with you? Go back to school, fool."
