A method of publishing manga
, wherein multiple stories by different artists, usually all aimed at the same demographic
, are collected and published. This is the norm for first-run publishing in Japan
, as opposed to the one-chapter-one-book method of publishing often used the States
Advantages: More bang for your buck. Disadvantages: I've never bought an anthology where all the stories interested me, so in some sense, I'm paying for superfluous stuff.
Some manga anthologies in Japan include:

- Hana to Yume (Flowers and Dreams)
- Asuka Fantasy DX
- . . . and thousands more. Those are just the ones I thought of off the top of my head.
