The developmental version of Linux-Mandrake or Mandrake Linux, as some call it. It is not for everyday use, but contains a more recent version of RPM packages, and more bugs than you can imagine. Similar to RedHat's RawHide distribution. The idea of a developmental distribution is to allow for more thorough testing of packages before the final product is shipped, as opposed to Microsoft's ship now, test later technology.
