Actually, it turned out to be a woman-eating tapir. Last year, a woman was feeding the tapir at the Oklahoma City Zoo, and she accidentally got between a momma tapir and her baby. The usually-docile animal tore her arm off with her teeth. The whole arm. It didn't actually eat the arm, but "man-eating tapir" sounds so much cooler than "bad tapir that tears off people's arms". Poor woman. From now on, when someone asks her, "How did you lose your arm?", she has to say, "A tapir bit me." It's one of those things that you hate to laugh at, but you just can't help yourself.
