Radiating anger, usually toward a specific person, place, thing, or idea. People forced to wake up in the wee hours of the morn (when most decent people are crawling into bed before the hangover starts, the coffee wears off, or both) are often malevolent toward the alarm clock.

Wishing evil; disposed to injure others; rejoicing in another's misfortune.
