ltools are a set of
disk tools that allow you to access your
ext2 filesystem from
windows nt and
95. I used them today to copy my 2.4.9
kernel to my
linux partition because
mandrake has a
weird kernel
setup, and upon my kernel re
compile suffered a heck of unresolved symbol errors and couldn't find a way to copy a
vanilla kernel.
ltools is maintained by Werner Zimmerman and is similar to
mtools under
linux and other
unix platforms. It is also apparently available for other
platforms such as
os/2,
MacOS and other
unix systems, although I have not tested this so
YMMV.
You can get more info as well as link to
download ltools from here http://www.it.fht-esslingen.de/~zimmerma/software/ltools.html
