Land's End is the westernmost point in England, at the southwestern end of Cornwall. It is the place closest to the New World in England, although the small Isles of Scilly are sometimes visible off to the west. As such, it is somewhat of an attraction with a tourist complex, footpaths going up the northern and southern edges of the Cornish coast, and legends of the supposed now-submerged lands of Lyonesse. The 60-foot cliffs give quite a view. For those with time for walking or cycling the whole length of Britain, the Land's End to John O'Groats route seems to be popular.

Lands' End (with the apostrophe after the s) is also an American clothing company founded by Gary Comer in 1963 in Chicago. See that node for more information.
