A Latin locution meaning "In that time".

The locution appears in the Vulgata text of the Bible.

One example is Genesis 14,1: Factum est in illo tempore, ut Amraphel..., that's to say, "It came to pass in that time that Amraphel..." (this is not exactly the same text as the KJV, and may be a later interpolation).
