iDCT (Inverse Discrete Cosine Transform) is a method used to de-compress video files that were compressed using DCT(Discrete Cosine Transform). Mpeg movies are compressed in this way, and every decoder needs an iDCT, but Mpegs are usually easy to determine from the stream.
