I once was a clueless young noder
And then I turned into a voter
Now I spend all my days
In an Everything haze
And mutter 'bout pop vs. soda.

I will take up the limerick challenge:

I once was a clueless young noder
More clueless than a C++ coder
But then my nodes became cooled
And the Everything crowd drooled
When they read my writeup on Giorgio Moroder.

(I guess I will need to add something about the guy now, that's poetical freedom for you :-)

There's many a clueless young noder
Whose grammar is like that of Yoda.
'Sentence structure eschew;
The way forward for you

I learned pretty well
And now I'm a competent coder

    But ego's a vice
